Now showing at Tenn Street!

December - January 2018

Evbstudio, formally “from the hood” (we used to be right next door to the Oriental Theater) relocated to 3735 Ames St, Wheat Ridge 2 years ago. Our previous 10 years on Tennyson allowed us to develop some long lasting and loving relationships that we still strive to keep, Tenn St. Coffee & Books being one of them!!! We are thankful and proud to be back again this year sharing with you the work of our MUDclub girls:

Sylvie Abecassis, Cora Bracho, Marie EvB Gibbons, Janey Hubschman, Katy Irvin, Brenda Jones, Melinda Laz, and Lindy Muniz

AND, by special invitation, Phyllis Keenan, (also a MUDDYone), will be sharing her beautiful photography of vintage vehicles, captured in the North Denver neighborhoods.

MUDclub is a group that meets once a week to share our love of mud (clay), art, inspiration and each other’s company. We hope you will enjoy viewing our works created over this last year as much as we enjoyed creating them!

If you’d like to know more about EvB Studio, please visit our website: www.evbstudio.com and/or feel free to drop by the studio, it’s just 1 mile west and pay us a visit!!

September and October 2017

GLOBAL:

A solo photography exhibit by Jeffrey Young

Dr. Jeffrey Young graduated from Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1989.  He has served on numerous Humane Society boards and has been an advisor for mobile surgical units and high volume spay/neuter facilities in over 30 countries.   In 1990 he established Planned Pethood Plus, a Denver clinic best known for its low-cost mobile neutering services, Native American Reservation work, and training of veterinarians from around the world in more efficient surgical techniques.

He is an outspoken proponent of early age neutering for companion animal population control, driven by a simple underlying mission “to significantly reduce companion animal overpopulation throughout the world”. He firmly believes that veterinarians and NGOs need to work together on sustainable low cost healthcare for all companion animals.

Dr. Young also founded his own non-profit group, called Planned Pethood International (PPI), to help fund spay/neuter work and veterinary training from its locations in Bratislava, Slovakia; Merida, Mexico; Chelem, Mexico and Puerto Morelos, Mexico.

This exhibit is a collection of some of Dr. Young’s favorite personal photography, taken between 1998 and 2017, both digital and 35mm film. All art sales will go to PPI   and North High School.
