“New Works in Printmaking” Now Open at Tenn Street Coffee & Books
Tenn Street Coffee & Books is proud to announce the opening of our annual art gallery exhibit, “New Works in Printmaking,” now available for viewing and purchase through the end of June! This year’s exhibit features the incredible work of six talented intaglio printmakers, each bringing their own unique perspective, techniques, and creativity to our space.
This is more than just an art exhibit – it’s a celebration of artistry, community, and collaboration. All six artists met while studying at the Art Students League of Denver, and their work encompasses a variety of intaglio techniques, zinc plate etchings, Solarplate polymer etchings, and other innovative print and paper processes.

About the Artists
Here’s a glimpse at the six talented artists featured in this year’s exhibit…
1. Alexa Mae Mosley

Raised in New Mexico and currently working in Denver, Alexa’s work focuses on detailed paintings and drawings inspired by her personal reality and experiences. Her pieces blend realism and surrealism, often depicting portraits and landscapes that invite viewers to step into her world of imagination and introspection.
2. Katie Lucas

Katie is a lifelong artist who found her way back to creating full-time after decades in the printing industry. Her work is inspired by the people, places, and things that surround us daily, with a focus on strong design, composition, and color. Katie’s art is an adventure of the mind, and she invites you to join her journey.
3. Isabella (Bella) Briganti

A Denver-based artist with a deep love for art and science, Bella’s work reflects introspection and the relationships we form. She incorporates oils, acrylics, and scientific illustration to create stunning pieces that explore humanity and the natural world. Bella’s work is both thought-provoking and beautifully crafted.
4. Sasha Rex

5. Dawn Leopardi

Dawn’s creative process is influenced by her experiences as a depth-oriented psychotherapist. Her work is inspired by nature, myth, and fairytales, blending symbolism and imagination to create images that evoke curiosity and spark the viewer’s imagination.
