About the event
Start your Sunday with a little bit of play. Grab a coffee and join us for a morning of cutting, pasting, and connecting. We’re coming together to make custom 5x7 paper portraits in a relaxed, communal setting. Whether you’re making a gift for someone special or just want to explore a new hobby with neighbors, it’s all about the process and the company.

Who can join?
This is an all-ages space where everyone is welcome to play and explore.

• Ages 3.5–7: We recommend these younger artists collaborate on a portrait together with a grown-up.

• Ages 8+: Perfect for independent making.

What we’re making:
I’ll have trays full of colorful cardstock, including pre-cut shapes for hair, eyes, and faces to help you get started. There’s no pressure to be a "pro"—we’re just here to layer shapes, play with color, and see what happens. By the afternoon, you will have a whimsical portrait of you or a loved one.

What’s included:

• All the Supplies: Plenty of cardstock, scissors, and glue to go around.

• The Little Details: Use paint markers to add personality, like a favorite sweater pattern or those specific glasses.

• Community Space: A dedicated spot to create alongside others in the heart of Tennyson Street.

Tickets:
$25: The Workshop + Your Portrait. Everything you need to create one 5x7 portrait with expert guidance.

Optional Frame: $10: We’ll have natural wood frames available if you want to finish your piece. Professional paint markers will be available during the event to finish your frame with your own unique touch.
