Tiles, Tunes & 'Dualities' Still on the Walls
August has been full from the very first weekend! Mahjong tiles clicking, lighthouse lattes flying out the window, and Dualities still glowing on our walls. Whether you caught every moment or need a quick catch-up, here's what's happened so far and what's still ahead.

A Mahjong Afternoon to Remember
August kicked off with tiles clicking and new friendships forming. On 8/2, The Mahj Squad led our Mahjong 101 session — a guided, beginner-friendly lesson that took a room full of curious first-timers and turned them into confident (well, confident enough) players. Everyone walked away with a take-home Mahjong 101 Handbook, a specially made signature drink, and just enough skill to sit down at any table with a little swagger.
The Latte Heard 'Round Coors Field
If you've been in the shop this week, you've probably noticed something yellow, something glowing, and something delicious. The Lighthouse Latte, our salted caramel and chocolate special crafted for Noah Kahan's shows at Coors Field (8/8–9), has been one of the most popular drinks we've launched all year. Hot or iced, it's bittersweet bliss in a cup, and it's nearly sold out more than once.
Dualities Isn't Going Anywhere (Yet)
Our current art exhibition, Dualities by Rachel of Dark Nature Designs, continues to hang on our walls through the end of August. What makes this show extra special is that Rachel isn't just a talented photographer and designer, she's one of our own baristas. Watching her step into the spotlight this summer has been one of our favorite parts of the season. Her work explores contrast, tension, and the space between light and dark, and it's worth slowing down for. 📖 Caffeinated Collage — Sunday, August 16th, 10:30 AM–12:30 PM. Bookish, hands-on crafting for all ages and skill levels — perfect for an unhurried Sunday morning.
🔗 Loop & Link: Bag Charms — Sunday, August 30th, 10:30 AM–12:30 PM. An all-ages beading pop-up where you'll leave with a custom bag charm you actually want to carry around.
