Bookmarks, Bubbly Lemonade and the Countdown to October
September has been a hands-on kind of month: bookmarks taking shape, mahjong tiles clicking, and a new drink special that didn't last long in the cup. Whether you caught every moment or need a quick catch-up, here's what's happened so far and what's still ahead.
A Morning of Bookmarks and Good Company
On 9/12, Caffeinated Collage returned to Tenn Street Coffee in partnership with Infinite Denver. A morning of bookish, hands-on crafting open to every age and skill level. Vintage book pages, colorful scraps, beads, and charms turned into one-of-a-kind bookmarks, and the shop had that perfect slow-Saturday, everyone-making-something energy we love hosting.
Heads up: We're already planning two Halloween-themed pop-ups with Infinite Denver, landing on 10/4 and 10/18. Details are still coming together, but expect the same all-ages, all-skill-level crafting energy, just with a spooky-season twist.
Mahjong, Now With Bubbly Lemonade
The very next day, Mahjong 101 with The Mahj Squad was back on 9/13, guiding another round of beginners from "never touched a tile" to "confident enough to sit at any table." This time, registrants got to try our new signature drink, the Mango Strawberry Bubbly Lemonade: bright, fruity, and easily one of the most requested drinks we've made all season.
North High Graphic Design Art 2-Week Reminder
Our current exhibition, featuring work from North High School's Graphic Design Program, is up on our walls through the end of September only. This one's different from our usual runs: a one-month-only showcase of advanced portfolio pieces built over years of training, created under the guidance of industry design professionals. If you haven't made it in to see it yet, now's the time. Once the month ends, so does the show.
William Thidemann Returns for Another October
Starting October 2nd, we're welcoming back William Thidemann of Mammoth American Tattoo for another October show, featuring paintings and tattoo flash art, one of our favorite spooky events at Tenn Street Coffee. This work brings a different energy to the gallery, and this year is no exception. If you've caught his show before, you know what we mean. If you haven't, October's your chance.
